Bill Brown, great man.

You may or may not have heard about Bill Brown, but, if you have not…then, you will come to understand this great man. As I sit here, typing this, I am listening to the awe inspiring, jaw dropping, Raven Shield main menu theme. If you’ve ever played any of the Rainbow Six games, you know the great music that’s been in them up until recently. Bill Brown composed them, all of them. Now, I hope he reads this, which isn’t likely since I seem to be a magnet for all the types of people I hate, instead of the people I would like to visit my blog, but I digress. Bill Brown, can be found at www.billbrownmusic.com. And, if you’re into classical music, with a modern touch, you can download all sorts of tracks from almost every single game or movie he’s done. I personally went and downloaded all of them.

If there’s ever been a man who defined his own genre of unique music, it is Bill Brown. Unlike most classical composers, almost all of Bill Brown’s work, has a militaristic feel to it. He constantly uses snare drums, steady beats, and just generally good composing. Please, do visit his website, do spread the word about him, he deserves it.

Short blog entry, yes, but I felt that I needed to post about him, and try to get the word out. It’s hard to get on my list of great composers of soundtracks, in fact, there’s only four people on that list, including Mr.Brown. He deserves every damn paycheck he receives. God bless his soul.

Nothing need be said, just watch it.
