Just recently, the TV show “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” wrapped up it’s premier season with the season finale. The show, which I had been following for it’s six or seven or so episode stint, stars Lena Headey (You probably know her as the Queen in 300) as Sarah Connor, several years after Terminator 2. The TV show is based around the fight for the future and attempting to halt Skynet (the evil computer system destined to take over the world) from ever being created. John Connor is now older, and a new batch of Terminators, called T-888’s, now exist. One of whom, was sent back in time to protect John, once again. But there’s a catch. This one is a female, and she has a name Her name is Cameron (played by Summer Glau) and she’s the most advanced Terminator to date. She’s able to mimic human behavior to a tee, and even eat like a human.
The premise of the show is all good and well, but it’s the storyline, and the plot that has me coming back for more (as well as that damn fine Summer Glau, she…is…hot.) Now, the show is airing on Fox, and Fox has been known to do some really, really, stupid things to popular new shows. Namely, canceling them. However, I think this show is a hit, and whether they know it or not…it’s a masterpiece and canceling it would be a disaster. So I implore you, if you enjoy the Terminator series, the TV show, or just good, well written programming, visit the website below and keep a great TV show on the air for it’s full run.
